| A medium-sized (37mm) damselfly with white legs and a narrow head. Preferred
                        habitats are slow-flowing rivers and streams with an abundance of bank-side
                        foliage. Usually found in the same vicinity as C. splendens, but does occur
                        with C. Virgo in the New Forest. 
 Males ae plae 
						blue with black markings. Usually flying low, appearing 
						to hover alongside the bank, investigating nooks & 
						crannies. Mature females are a pale green, almost white 
						when immature.
 
 Often seen in tandem along streams 
						and usually found in large numbers away from water low 
						down in grasses or other undergrowth.
